Doctors' data
We display name, specialty, provider, capitation coefficient or share of average, employment share and whether the doctor accepts new patients according to ZZZS. Source: the public list of the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia (ZZZS), released as open data under CC BY 4.0.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in helping insured persons exercise their right to choose a personal doctor in the public network. We do not enrich doctors' data from other sources (no ratings, reviews or photos).
Doctors may object (Art. 21) at the address above or via the form on the For doctors page; we reply within 30 days. If the objection is justified we hide the name permanently (the page then shows "Zdravnik (ime skrito na zahtevo)"), while the acceptance status of the position, which is publicly funded, remains.
Corrections and objections (form)
When you submit a correction or an objection via the form on the For doctors page, we store the doctor you name, your note, your contact email, the time of submission and, if you fill them in, your own name and your consent to have that name published on the thank you page, so that we can verify the report and reply. The correction itself is displayed on the site for 90 days; the contact email is erased after 2 years, the note is kept as a record of how the objection was handled. You may ask for erasure at the address above. The accepting and not accepting buttons on a doctor's page store the doctor, your answer, the date and a salted hash of your IP address; the address itself is not stored, and the hash only prevents one person from voting many times.
Alert subscriptions
When you subscribe or create an account we store: the channel identifier (Telegram chat ID or your email address), the chosen doctor type, search radius, an approximate location rounded to about 1 km and a place label (the town or place name returned by geocoding, not the address you typed); if you subscribed from a specific doctor's page, also that doctor's identifier; and your language, the time of your last visit and the time of the last alert sent to you. The address you type is not linked to you; the search text is kept for at most 30 days only in an anonymous geocoding cache. We keep no search history. The server writes the IP address, the time and the request path to its log, without the search text and without coordinates; logs are kept for 14 days on the basis of our legitimate interest in the security of the service (Art. 6(1)(f)). No tracking cookies: we use only strictly necessary cookies for your language choice and for account sign-in (a session key that keeps you signed in), and the browser (localStorage) keeps your account key if you signed in on that device. Sign-in works without a password, via a time-limited email link (valid for 30 minutes and usable until it expires) or via Telegram.
Legal basis: performance of the service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b)); by sending /start in Telegram or clicking the confirmation link in the email you explicitly opt in to that channel. Unconfirmed email addresses are deleted after 7 days. Alerts about gynaecologists require an additional explicit confirmation.
Alerts contain only the fact that a doctor of the chosen type near you started accepting patients according to ZZZS; they contain no advertising and are not direct marketing.
Unsubscribe any time with /stop or via the one-click link in every email; /delete or the manage page erases all your data. Unsubscribing deletes your subscriptions, while the account itself remains until you delete it in your account or with /delete in the bot, or at the latest after 12 months without a visit and without any alert sent. If you block the bot in Telegram we remove the Telegram channel; the account is deleted only if it has no email address. Delivery logs are kept for 30 days.
Telegram
If you choose Telegram, messages are relayed by Telegram Messenger Inc., an independent controller subject to its own privacy policy (telegram.org/privacy). Telegram is established outside the EEA and states that EEA users' data are stored in the Netherlands. By choosing this channel you accept that your Telegram ID and alert content pass through Telegram's infrastructure. Email alerts are offered as an alternative.
Email and processors
Email is sent through Plus Five Five, Inc., d. b. a. Resend (San Francisco, USA) under a data processing agreement; sending happens from the EU region, but sending metadata and our account with the provider are processed in the USA. The transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 45 and 46 GDPR). Hosting and database: Hostinger International Ltd. (data centre in Frankfurt, Germany, EU). Geocoding of the text you type is performed by Nominatim, run by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF, registered in the United Kingdom); requests are handled by its servers in Amsterdam, Dublin and Oregon (USA). We send only the search text and our server's IP address, without any of your identifiers. Map tiles come from OpenFreeMap; your browser sends the usual technical data (IP address) to fetch them. No other processors; no third-party analytics.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and complaint to the Information Commissioner of Slovenia (ip-rs.si). Most rights you can exercise yourself in your account: delete subscriptions, delete all data, download your data as JSON. You may also send requests to the address above; we reply within 30 days.
Security and breaches
The connection is encrypted (TLS), only we have access to the database, and there are no passwords to leak. Database backups are kept for 14 days on the same EU server; deleted data may remain in a backup for up to 14 days. If a personal data breach could put your rights at risk, we notify the Information Commissioner within 72 hours and you if the risk is high.
Changes
Last updated: 15 August 2026. On material changes we update the date and mention it in the next alert.
Terms of use
zdravnik.inventa.solutions is free and has no third-party ads. It shows public ZZZS data on doctors accepting new patients and sends alerts the user requests.
Data are indicative. The clinic decides on acceptance; the service does not guarantee availability. It is not medical advice and does not book appointments. Phone numbers and websites come from public sources and may be inaccurate; the controller is not liable for their correctness or for any damage arising from their use.
ZZZS data may be reused under CC BY 4.0 with attribution to ZZZS. The site's own content (texts, design) belongs to the controller.
