The source is the public ZZZS list of doctors, published every day Monday to Saturday and registered on podatki.gov.si as open data under CC BY 4.0. We download it every day from Monday to Saturday, in the morning and at noon, compare it with the previous day and keep the history.

What "accepting" means

"Accepting" means the doctor has not yet reached the ZZZS limit at which new patients may be refused: 1348 capitation coefficients per team for family medicine, 1196 for paediatrics, 825 for trainees (since 1 February 2025, Uradni list RS 109/2024). For gynaecologists ZZZS measures the share of the Slovenian average (limit 100 %), for dentists the share of the regional average (limit 110 %).

"Almost full" means the doctor is above 95 % of the limit and the place will probably close soon.

A clinic may still refuse, for example because of a change of doctor or a reporting error. That is why we always say "according to ZZZS" and ask you to call before visiting. If you know a record is wrong, tell us via the For doctors page; corrections are marked separately.

Why no ratings

We show official ZZZS data only. We neither collect nor display ratings, reviews or photos: they are not part of the public source and say nothing about availability.

Liability

Phone numbers and websites of clinics are collected from public sources (ZZZS directory, provider websites) and may be outdated or wrong. We accept no liability for their accuracy or for the consequences of calling a wrong number; verify them with the provider.

Data are indicative; accuracy is reported by the providers. This site is not medical advice and does not book appointments. In an emergency call 112.

Who is behind it

Built and maintained by Mykhailo Koblychenko s.p., Ljubljana (inventa.solutions) as a public tool, without third-party ads or fees. The idea came in August 2026 while looking for a paediatrician for a newborn, when only one of almost 60 paediatricians in Ljubljana was accepting.

An independent project

zdravnik.inventa.solutions is a private, non-profit initiative by one person, not an official service. It is not affiliated with ZZZS, the Ministry of Health or any public authority. The project in no way seeks to replace or interfere with the health system; on the contrary, it builds on its strength, the open ZZZS data, and simply helps patients find a doctor faster and exercise their right to choose a personal doctor. The service is free, carries no third-party ads and sells nothing. The data is informational, so always check with the clinic before visiting.
